The Kilburn building is the home to The School of Computer Science at the University of Manchester.
It is the longest established school of Computer Science in the United Kingdom and one of the largest.
It currently has over 800 students taking a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
The existing computer cluster was looking dated and suffered from poor acoustics.
With the combination of acoustic suspended ceilings, wall mounted acoustic panels in a variety of bright colours, combined with frameless glazed walls, the area was transformed into a functional and contemporary space.
